The Everett letterbox in Higganum, CT should
probably be moved. It was definitely on private land, and there were
surveyor tags throughout the area (used as clues!). The box was in plain
view, and we had to tramp through poison ivy the entire way there (no
discernable path). It looked like the land was soon to be cleared for
development.
Maybe the land belongs to the folks who placed the
box?
Sorry to be a let-down, but I didn't enjoy
scrubbing my legs to get the poison off.
On a better note -- the clues were very clear and
we found the box easily.
